#NAACPYC Student Reflects on Life of Julian Bond

 

We have lost another giant. I have always admired how courageous Chairman Bond was. He was truly a Titan to the movement. I just saw him a few weeks ago in Philly with President Obama cheerful as ever. I am grateful to have met and learn for you on multiple occasions. Through your motivational words of wisdom and in your passing, you have handed over your baton and rooted for my generation to begin running, because the race is not over. You have fought the good fight. Until we meet in heaven, sleep in peace. #RIPJulianBond #JulianBond
